Emma Gilchrist
Emma Gilchrist is a Senior Orthoptist and Ophthalmic Technician. She graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2017 with a Bachelor’s of Medical Science in Orthoptics. Shortly after her graduation she began her professional career as an Orthoptist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.
Her final year project at university was displayed at the BIPOSA conference in 2018. The project looked at the effect target size can have on the field of uniocular fixation.
Since starting her role at Modality she has taken a special interest in dry eyes and vitreo retinal conditions.
