 Dr Constantinos Loizou

Dr Constantinos Loizou is an Ophthalmologist with an interest in Ocular Surface Diseases, Ocular Plastic, Reconstructive and Cataract surgery. He qualified from the University of Ioannina, Greece in 2006 before moving to the West Midlands for his postgraduate training.

He is also an advanced medical aesthetics doctor and performs all the latest, most effective, safest, and innovative non-surgical cosmetic treatments.

He holds a degree in Medicine (MD) with honours and has been awarded with prizes for academic and clinical excellence. He has extensive experience in Ophthalmology for more than 10 years and has a wealth of knowledge in the aesthetic facial rejuvenation and skin care.

He is a member of many prestigious Medical Academies & Colleges, including the British Oculoplastic Surgery Society, the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and the European College of Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery.

He balances his NHS commitments alongside his private work in Greece, Cyprus and in the UK.

Constantinos joined Modality Community Ophthalmology Service in 2018 as a clinical partner and later in 2020 assumed the role of Clinical Lead. Bringing together a wealth of business development knowledge, he led a complete service reorganisation and transformation into a very successful integrated care system, perfectly aligned between the local communities and the secondary care, in order to enhance productivity and accessibility and provide excellent eye care of the highest standards.

He shares a passion and commitment to quality of care, collaborative action, agility, and dynamic, fast-paced decision making that break down barriers and improve outcomes in our communities.
